70th Annual Berkshire County Youth Fair and Gymkhana Horse Show Fun and affordable family entertainment for all to enjoy.
Date: August 21, 2010 9am - 5pm Utility Drive (off Holmes Road), Pittsfield Admission & Parking: FREE

See exhibits from local 4-H clubs and area youth. Educational hall exhibits, livestock competitions, 4-H horse show, food booth, clover patch (games for little ones), games & crafts tent. Highlights include various youth contests throughout the day, bubble gum blowing contest, egg toss, sack races, goat milking contest, Llamas, live music and entertainment, livestock costume parade, various entertainment, delicious ice cream, and WUPE radio from 9-11! Music by Moonshine Holler, Zack Johnson & The Yankee Entertainer, Justin Piggot, Performances by the Berkshire Music School, and Terpsichore Dance Center, Animals, Hall Exhibits, Games Tent, Food Booth, ...and more!!

Sponsored by the Berkshire County 4-H Association, Berkshire County 4-H Fair Inc., UMass Extension 4-H Program, and Massachusetts Department of Food and Agriculture cooperating.
( Friday, August 20th 3:30pm-6:30pm All hall exhibits must be tagged and in place -Hall closes to entrants at 6:30pm. Hall exhibit judging begins at 6:45pm)
4-H YOUTH FAIR DAY, SATURDAY, AUGUST 21st PROGRAM: 7:30-8:30 am All Livestock, Poultry, Rabbits checked in and in place. 8:00 am Food Booth Opens, 8:30 am Pledges, Exhibitors Meeting (All Entrants) 9:00am Exhibit Hall opens, Cloverbud Clinic to follow, Horses arrive, Rabbit judging begins. 9:30 am Cloverpatch Games and Activities begin, 10:00am Livestock judging begins, Goat Show, 10:30 am Horse Gymkhana begins, 12:00pm Goat Milking contest, 12:30 pm Dairy Show, 1:30 Beef Show, 2:00 pm Swine Judging, 3:30pm Costume Livestock Parade- Prizes Awarded, 4:30pm Awards Ceremony 5:00pm Exhibits released.
